The Bergeon Presto Watch Hand Remover is a spring activated tweezers type tool used to lift out the hand(s) from a watch movement separated from the watch case.
Set the lower metal bent jaws around stem on the underside of the hand to be removed. Press the two outer metal bowed springs together securing the bent jaws around the stem and squeeze the metal springs which will lower the center metal plunger of the tool onto the top of the hand, securing it between the lower metal jaws and the metal plunger. Then apply additional pressure on the bowed springs to raise the hand off the movement stem, thus removing the hand from the watch movement.
